🍎 Cancellation Policy

  • Balance refunds: no penalties
  • No refunds/discounts for bad weather, late arrivals, or early departures
  • The site is not liable for refunds due to force majeure
  • If you need to cancel or amend, please give as much notice as possible so the pitch can be offered to another guest
  • We recommend holiday insurance for cancellations, property and injury cover

Camping & Touring:

  • Arrival: Anytime
  • Departure: Anytime
    (We run a relaxed arrival system — please choose your pitch considerately.)

🍎 General Site Rules

These rules help keep the lakeside peaceful, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

🍎 Noise

  • Please keep noise at a respectful level
  • No loud music after 10:00pm
  • Maintain a peaceful lakeside atmosphere for all guests

🍎 Fire Pits

  • Fire pits are allowed
  • Fire pits MUST be raised off the ground
  • No fires directly on grass or lake banks
  • Use only proper firewood — no pallets or rubbish
  • Never leave fires unattended

🍎 Parking & Pitching

  • Do not park vehicles too close to the lake — protects the banks and keeps space for anglers
  • Leave plenty of space between you and your neighbours
  • Keep access routes clear, including emergency access
  • Be considerate when choosing your pitch

🍎 Fishing Rules

  • Carp-only lake
  • Allowed rigs:
    • Running rigs
    • Safe helicopter rigs
    • Simple float fishing
  • Not allowed:
    • Fixed rigs
    • Leadcore
    • 360 rigs
    • Bent hooks
    • Nuts
    • Braided mainline
    • Unsafe bolt rigs
  • EA Rod Licence required for everyone 13+ (except Try Fishing Days)
  • Respect the lake, wildlife, and fellow anglers

🍎 Children & Safety

  • Children must be supervised near the lake at all times
  • No swimming in the lake
  • Dogs welcome — must be controlled and cleaned up after

🍎 Waste & Recycling

  • Please use the bins provided
  • Leave pitches clean and tidy
  • Respect the land, farm, and wildlife

🍎 Hot Tub Use

  • Hot tub hire is available and must be pre-booked
  • Full instructions will be provided
  • Follow all safety guidance when in use
