🐟 Fish Species
- Our lake is carp-only with a mix of Mirror and Common Carp.
- Please handle fish with care and return them safely.
🐟 Allowed Rigs
- Running rigs
- Safe helicopter rigs (with proper safety beads)
- Simple float fishing
🐟 Not Allowed
- Fixed rigs
- Leadcore
- 360 rigs
- Bent hooks
- Nuts
- Braided mainline
- Unsafe bolt rigs
- Keepnets (except during authorised charity events)
🐟 EA Rod Licence
- Anyone 13+ must hold a valid EA Rod Licence.
- Licences are not required during Angling Trust Try Fishing Days, which are officially licence-waived.
🐟 Fish Care Requirements
- Use a landing net at all times
- Use an unhooking mat for every fish
- Wet mats and nets before use
- Treat hook wounds where appropriate
- Keep fish low to the ground when photographing
- Return fish to the water quickly and safely
🐟 Safety & Conduct
- No swimming in the lake
- Keep the banks clear for anglers
- Be respectful to others fishing around you
- Absolutely no litter around the lake
- Fish only from designated areas

- We host beginner-friendly Try Fishing Days with Angling Trust support
- All equipment and guidance provided
- EA licence not required for these supervised sessions
